Description
While hiking through Goblin Valley with Cat in the late afternoon heat, I kept looking for compositions that balanced the strange sandstone forms with the incredible clouds moving overhead. The formations here feel almost alive, and this one stood apart like a watchtower rising out of the desert floor.
The light was low and warm, catching the edge of the rock while the sky shifted between deep blue, white clouds, and darker weather building in the distance. Goblin Valley Watchtower captures that classic feeling of the Utah desert strange, rugged, and larger than life.
