Description
It was a freezing winter’s night in Bryce Canyon National Park; the temperatures were dropping to the low single digits and the wind was blowing at 35 MPH. The view from Bryce Point was stunning, with the sky, clouds, and the theater below creating the perfect winter landscape. This is a single exposure photograph, as the high winds and freezing temperatures made it impossible to bracket photos for any length of time.
While most people view Bryce as a summer destination, the cold, clear air paired with the freshly fallen snow presents a mystical and inspiring landscape. The stark contrast between the red rock formations and the white snow enhances the park’s unique beauty, making winter an exceptional time to experience Bryce Canyon.
