Description
A clearing storm, an outgoing tide, and sunset are the right combination for Bandon Beach. On this evening, all of those pieces lined up for just a short moment. The storm clouds began to break apart near the horizon, the tide pulled back across the sand, and the last light of the day started to reflect across the beach.
The color did not last long. The sky lit up around sunset and then quickly faded, but for a few minutes the whole scene came together. I was able to capture the sea stacks, the reflections in the wet sand, the retreating water, and the drama of the storm still hanging over the Oregon Coast.
