Description
The journey to Exit Glacier within Kenai Fjords National Park is an exceptional and unique adventure. Unlike most parts of the park, which can only be reached by hiking or boating, this area offers relatively easy access via public roads. This accessibility is well justified by the extraordinary beauty it reveals.
During our hike, we encountered intermittent rain and fleeting moments of sunlight, creating a dynamic atmosphere. As we ascended, we found ourselves surrounded by a picturesque valley, where a meandering river descended from the towering mountain peaks. The clouds embraced the mountaintops, allowing just a hint of sunlight to filter through, illuminating the lush foliage in a vibrant shade of green.
