Taken from the same area as Evening Fire Over Goblin Valley, this image was made later in the evening, after the sun had dropped below the horizon and the direct light had faded from the desert. What remained was a softer, quieter kind of light a gentle glow across the sandstone and a sky that had shifted into muted pinks, purples, and blues.
Evening Goblin Valley captures the landscape well into blue hour, when the harshness of the day was gone and the entire scene took on an almost pastel quality.
