Description
Located in western Texas, just a stone’s throw from the New Mexico border, Guadalupe Mountains National Park encompasses a stunning portion of the Chihuahuan Desert, featuring a unique mix of salt-white dunes, sprawling grasslands, and majestic mountains. The park is home to Texas’s highest point, Guadalupe Peak, which towers at 8,751 feet.
During our visit to the park, we were met with relentless rain and storms. This evening was no exception, but despite the high winds, I was determined to make the best of it. We discovered a beautiful high-desert grassland where the light filtering through the clouds created a dramatic contrast. In the distance, the towering peaks were shrouded in low-hanging clouds, adding a touch of mystique to the scene.
