For my daughter Cameron’s 10th Birthday we took a trip from our home outside of Boston to Yosemite National Park. This took place in mid November 2018 and she fell in love; with the travel, the nature, the entire experience. After that I made a simple deal with her:
“I will take you (Cameron) to every national park in the US before you turn 18”
The Rules:
- We must have a real experience in each park
- Must spend 2-4 Days in each park
- Driving through does not count
- Must see as many of the major sites, points of interest, historic places, etc. as possible in the given time
Clearly this is a very ambitious goal with a number of real challenges. I plan on using this platform to catalog our adventures together. I am already behind by 9 parks but will catch up as time allows.
