Description
As it was raining on and off in Death Valley all day I spent the day searching for what would work for a sunset location. Everywhere I saw water in the distance I would hike down to the area and look for a sunset spot. I had some poor luck early on, with areas full of footprints or so covered in mud that I would sink in a up to a foot.
After hiking a few miles from the road I found this spot. With water in the foreground and untouched with footprints and facing the mountains it was perfect. The time-blended image came out better then I could have hoped. The reflection in the water really made this a standout image from the park.
