Description
Most people venture out to Seal Rock State Park to photograph sunset, as it makes sense with the sun setting over the ocean. However, I spent three mornings in a row on this lovely small beach and found sunrise to be an amazing time. Each morning, we found ourselves alone on the beach with only the sound of the waves. It was peaceful and still, the perfect chance to focus on creating something special.
Just before dawn broke and the first light cracked the horizon, the sky started to come alive. The almost full moon was setting over the Pacific Ocean, and I captured this image. The tide was still coming in and crashing over the rocks in front of me, and the reflected light from the clouds cast a warm red glow onto everything.
