Description
Olympic National Park is full of amazing Pacific Ocean beaches, and Rialto Beach is no exception. Located near the mouth of the Quillayute River, it comprises an ocean beach and a coastal forest. These beaches change every day; as the tide comes in, the massive fallen trees get moved around, so everything you see one day might be gone the next.
On this particular day, the weather was warmer than usual for late spring, and I was treated to an amazing sky filled with vibrant colors and eye-catching clouds. The massive logs that had floated down the river lined the rocky beach, and a lone island could be seen in the distance.
