Description
This photo was taken during a rare snowstorm in Joshua Tree National Park in February 2019. I set up my camera early in the morning, before sunrise, as snow continued to fall. When the sun finally broke through, the landscape revealed a scene seldom seen in this part of the desert: a fresh blanket of snow. The composition was inspired by a lone, majestic Joshua tree in the foreground, standing tall against the pristine white backdrop. Beyond it, an endless line of other Joshua trees stretched into the distance, creating a serene and captivating winter desert scene.
