Description
Trunk Beach is one of the iconic beaches in the Virgin Islands, just down the road from the almost equally famous Cinnamon Bay Beach. It’s a stunning Caribbean beach with islands and a huge coral reef. Capturing a truly breathtaking sunset photo here is challenging due to its popularity. I walked all the way to the end of the beach and returned day after day until I had the perfect conditions and a beach free of people.
Everything lined up for this photo. The sunset itself was stunning, with the clouds glowing red and the sky turning yellow. The water beautifully reflected the sky, turning a vibrant red. In the distance, you can see the ruins of a windmill from an old sugar plantation, adding a touch of history to the scene.
