Description

The Space Needle in Seattle, Washington, built as part of the World’s Fair in 1962, is a stunning building to photograph. This photo was taken from the well-known Kerry Park, which offers iconic views of downtown Seattle. The Space Needle, while not the tallest building in the city, remains the most recognizable.

This image, taken at sunset in late summer, captures the sky awash with clouds lit up as the sun dipped below the horizon. As the building lights came on, the scene transformed into a mesmerizing blend of colors. This photo is a blend of several points in time over the blue hour, giving incredible detail and depth to the image.
