Description
During my exploration around Seal Rock, I hiked to the top of the dunes near Little Creek Overlook. The weather was stormy, with intermittent rain throughout the day, creating a dramatic scene over the ocean. I composed this image to capture the power and beauty that inclement weather brings to the Northern Pacific Coastline. The rain enhances the vibrant reds and greens of the rocks, bringing them to life. Impromptu streams carve their way through the sand, flowing toward the ocean. A slightly long exposure reveals the swirling movement in the water, while the pouring rain can be seen in the distance, meeting the horizon.
